Bagel and Toaster

Or Beagle and Coaster :-)

Well, it’s Christmas and the world’s stopped working. Apparently, so has my sense of humour.

Matthew Newton writes a regular feature called Free Agent for PC World and in this edition of Free Agent he talks about the very promising Coaster project which might finally provide GNOME users with a CD burning experience on par with K3b.

He also touches upon Beagle, that one thing which will definitely make me ditch KDE for GNOME the day it’s released. The Beagle 0.0.4 release notes say the plan is to get a working, usable version out of the door with SuSE 9.3 which is roughly six months down the line. I am waiting!
